At this point, there is no need for many words to introduce MoMo - the startup that recently transformed into a unicorn after successfully raising $200 million and being valued at over $2 billion at the end of 2021.
From an application launched in October 2010 - at a time when "e-wallets" were still a relatively unfamiliar concept - MoMo has now provided financial services to 31 million existing customers, which is nearly one-third of Vietnam's population.
As a natural consequence, the working environment and offices of MoMo have undergone a significant transformation as well. The initial headquarters of MoMo was located in the Arrow Building (40 Hoang Viet, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City) - classified as a grade C office. However, starting from January 2022, MoMo moved to the Phu My Hung Tower (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) - a grade A office building situated in the heart of the Phu My Hung urban area, right next to the Crescent Mall shopping center.

The new headquarters of MoMo occupies floors 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11, with a total usable area of 7,000 square meters, providing various amenities such as dining, entertainment, sports, and resting areas for its employees.
Following the trend of office design in many unicorn startups and large corporations, the workspace at MoMo has a high level of openness to enhance interaction, featuring numerous communal areas. Apart from the workstations, the office meets the employees' needs for dining, recreation, and even rest, creating a "second home" feeling for the staff.
Floor 6 is designed as a central entertainment area, including dining spaces and spaces for in-house events.
Floors 7 and 11 are designated for the technical team, technology division, and product development. On the 7th floor, MoMo has set up the Ironman Bar with a capacity of 10 - 40 people, along with a garden area for employees to relax and unwind, as well as host group events for 5-10 people or team gatherings for 25-50 people.
Additionally, the office is equipped with sleeping and bathroom areas for employees who need to rest after night shifts, for those who commute to work by bicycle, or after engaging in jogging activities (morning and evening).
Floor 8, alongside the Executive Office and business units, also accommodates spaces for after-hours activities for clubs such as reading and research. Meanwhile, floor 9 is designed for the Back Office department, featuring a cozy pantry, Mothercare, and a medical room to provide comprehensive healthcare and rest facilities for the employees.
As of now, MoMo has more than 1,600 employees with its main headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, and offices in Hanoi and Da Nang. In addition to Ho Chi Minh City, MoMo has recently expanded the scale of its office in Hanoi to enhance the working experience for employees and prepare for future workforce growth.
