In 2023, ADP was awarded the invitation to tender for what would become the largest project of the year from the National Australia Bank (NAB). Spanning 8,500 m² within the prestigious Hallmark building, this project not only represented the biggest investment in the market at that time but also became the most significant contract ever undertaken by ADP, a leader in Vietnamese office design. This project challenged ADP to push the boundaries of office design and project management, setting new industry standards.
The project was supported by a collaboration with several high-level international consultancy firms, including MACE for project management, Delhomme for acoustics, T&T for cost and volume management, and Out2 for conceptual advice. This collaboration demanded ADP not only to fully understand and meet the high technical requirements but also to deliver a design that would set a benchmark for future projects.
The design theme 'A Taste of Vietnam' was chosen to showcase the cultural richness of Vietnam, making each floor a representation of different regions of the country:
Floors 8 and 9:
Inspired by Northern Vietnam, they feature cultural motifs from Dong Son drums and traditional textiles, highlighted in red and orange tones. Bat Trang pottery and pattern-engraved acoustic panels add functional beauty.
The NAB office aims for GOLD LEED certification, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability through various means. This includes improved indoor air quality systems, comprehensive waste management and recycling strategies, and the use of certified sustainable materials. The design optimally harnesses natural light while employing efficient, sensor-controlled lighting systems to minimize energy consumption. High levels of soundproofing and sound absorption are integral to the design, ensuring a comfortable and productive environment.
Moreover, a sophisticated booking system has been implemented to support NAB’s hybrid working model, allowing employees to reserve workspaces, including desks and meeting rooms, via an intuitive app or online platform. This system not only enhances flexibility and efficiency but also contributes to the office's sustainability goals by optimizing space usage and reducing resource wastage.
The office is equipped with the Systimax Visipatch 360 system, setting the highest standard for data transmission and ensuring robust, efficient communications. The introduction of the BoSpray ceiling system for superior sound absorption and the Security Innerange system for top-level security mark significant technological advances within the project.
The office features adjustable desks and ergonomic furniture to promote physical health. Extensive soundproofing and acoustic treatments maintain privacy and minimize distractions, enhancing productivity. Each floor’s thematic design connects employees to local culture, enhancing their engagement and sense of belonging. Communal areas like the cafeteria are designed to encourage relaxation and social interaction, further contributing to overall employee well-being.
Through its innovative design and technological prowess, the NAB office by ADP stands as a testament to the harmonious blend of cultural respect and high-tech infrastructure. This project not only highlights ADP's capability to meet rigorous international standards but also its commitment to creating a workplace that values sustainability, cultural identity, and technological advancement, making it a landmark in global corporate office design.
