Designing a Workplace That Embodies Menarini’s Core Values

With more than 135 years of history, Menarini is a globally trusted pharmaceutical group from Italy, known for its dedication to health and wellness across markets. In Vietnam, Menarini Asia-Pacific continues this legacy by providing access to innovative healthcare solutions while upholding the highest standards in professionalism and care.

As the company relocated to a more compact office space (500m²), Menarini’s priority was to enhance productivity, elevate the working environment, and ensure acoustic comfort — all within a smaller footprint. ADP was chosen as the design and build partner to bring that vision to life.

ADP’s approach to Menarini’s new office design was guided by more than visual identity — it was about translating the character of the brand into a meaningful workplace experience. That meant balancing professionalism with warmth, and science with empathy.

The design draws from the iconic “M” shape in the Menarini logo, which inspired clean, angular lines throughout the space. To soften this and reflect the brand’s healthcare values, gentle curves — symbolic of care and human connection — were integrated into the ceilings, walls, and key architectural details. This interplay between precision and softness creates a space that feels both confident and compassionate, echoing Menarini’s enduring commitment to people and well-being.

Subtle use of brand colors and thoughtful spatial planning further reinforce this identity, helping employees and visitors feel the brand from the moment they arrive.

Understanding the need for increased productivity in a smaller space, ADP focused on intelligent planning and flexible usage. The layout includes a multifunctional area designed to accommodate informal discussions, quick team huddles, or focused individual work — maximizing space without compromising comfort.

A palette of light-colored materials enhances visual clarity and openness, while the use of wood textures introduces warmth and a sense of balance.

Sustainability was a key pillar of the design. The new office incorporates eco-friendly materials, optimized natural light, and improved soundproofing to foster a healthier and more productive working environment.

These decisions reflect Menarini’s long-term commitment to wellness — not just in the products they deliver, but in the workplace culture they create.

Even within a compact footprint of just 500m², the new Menarini Vietnam office was carefully programmed to support a range of functions and workstyles. The layout includes dedicated spaces for leadership, collaboration, focused work, and informal exchange — all thoughtfully integrated to promote efficiency and well-being.

The office features a welcoming reception area, four meeting rooms, and a boardroom to support both internal discussions and client interactions. Private zones include a general manager's room and six individual manager rooms, while two phone booths offer quiet spaces for focused calls. The main working area accommodates 32 staff, complemented by a 10-seat hot desk zone to support flexibility and movement. A dedicated townhall space serves as a multifunctional area for team briefings or collaborative gatherings, while a wet pantry, storage room, and server room ensure operational needs are met with ease.

This well-balanced spatial strategy allows the office to operate efficiently while fostering a workplace culture rooted in clarity, comfort, and care.

Through thoughtful design, material choices, and an understanding of healthcare-sector needs, ADP has helped Menarini Vietnam shape a workspace that feels focused, flexible, and aligned with its values.
