In the world of global logistics, excellence is never static. It is refined through constant motion, precision, and the ability to adapt without losing momentum. For Expeditors’ new Hanoi workplace, ADP Workplace translated that philosophy into space through the concept “Infinite Loop” - a seamless flow of people, processes, and ideas that mirrors the company’s operational mindset. As a leading global logistics provider with a worldwide network spanning over 60 countries, Expeditors is built on reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The workplace reflects these values through optimized planning, clear circulation, and adaptable environments that support focus, collaboration, and long-term growth.

Infinite Loop - A Workplace That Never Stands Still

In logistics, efficiency is measured in flow of goods, data, and decisions. This principle guided every design move across the two floors of Lancaster Luminaire Hanoi.

Spatial planning is organized around continuous circulation paths that connect work zones, collaboration areas, and support functions into one cohesive loop. No space feels isolated; instead, each zone feeds naturally into the next, encouraging agility, collaboration, and operational clarity.

The aesthetic language is elegant yet practical with clean lines, balanced proportions, and carefully curated materials create a bright and composed environment, while subtle design details reinforce the idea of constant motion and connection.

Balancing Innovation with Practicality

At the heart of Expeditors’ workplace at Lancaster Luminaire, the internal staircase linking the 11th and 12th floors stands as the most defining architectural gesture of the project and also the most challenging to deliver. Creating an inter-floor staircase within an occupied, premium-grade A building like Lancaster Luminaire is far from straightforward. Key challenges included:

  • Structural limitations: Cutting through floor slabs required detailed structural analysis, approvals, and reinforcement strategies to ensure zero impact on building integrity

  • Strict landlord regulations: Every dimension, material, fire-rating, and construction method had to align precisely with landlord guidelines

  • Fire & life-safety compliance: The staircase had to meet stringent local authority requirements for fire protection, egress, and smoke control—without compromising design intent

  • Construction sequencing: Works were carefully phased to coordinate with base building conditions and minimize risk during slab opening and structural modification

Each step required close collaboration between ADP Workplace, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and the building management team.
