In line with its mission to build healthier futures, AstraZeneca Vietnam has unveiled its new Hanoi office — a space that reflects not only the company’s forward-looking workplace strategy, but also its respect for cultural context and sustainable development.
Designed and built by ADP Group, the 805 m² office sits on the 5th floor of the LEED Gold–certified Grand Terra Building, offering a fresh and purpose-driven environment for AstraZeneca’s SMM and MC teams.
Titled “Heritage Fluid,” the design concept draws inspiration from Hanoi’s Red River and the spirit of surrounding traditional craft villages. As the river connects generations and communities, the space mirrors that same sense of flow — bridging people, ideas, and purpose.
Design elements throughout the office pay homage to Vietnamese pottery, woven bamboo textures, and the gentle transitions of water — not simply as visual cues, but as layered expressions of identity. The result is a workplace that feels both globally consistent and deeply rooted in place — where AstraZeneca’s modern identity harmonises with the soul of Hanoi.
AstraZeneca’s Hanoi office is more than a beautifully crafted space — it is a strategic response to how people work today. Grounded in the principles of Activity-Based Working (ABW), the layout provides team members with the autonomy to choose how and where they work, depending on the task at hand.
The office features a range of settings — from collaborative zones and hybrid rooms to quiet booths and open lounges — all seamlessly connected to encourage movement, interaction, and focus. This flexibility supports not only productivity but also the diversity of working styles within and across the two primary teams housed in the space.
Key shared areas — including meeting rooms, reception, and the pantry — foster unity and operational efficiency while allowing for clear team boundaries when needed.
In developing this workplace, ADP responded directly to AstraZeneca’s key objectives: to enhance collaboration, enable flexibility, ensure scalability for future growth, and reflect a professional, human-centric brand.
The office is delivered within a LEED Gold–certified building, aligning with AstraZeneca’s environmental goals and offering high-performance standards in indoor air quality, acoustic comfort, energy use, and material sustainability.
Every detail — from space planning and material selection to MEP coordination and fire safety compliance — was handled to meet both local Grade A standards and AstraZeneca’s global operational benchmarks.
AstraZeneca’s new Hanoi office is not just a new address — it is a reflection of the company’s evolving culture. It combines the precision of global strategy with the warmth of local expression, creating a space that empowers people, enhances wellbeing, and supports sustainable performance.
Through thoughtful design and shared vision, ADP and AstraZeneca have brought to life a workplace where global healthcare ambition is grounded in the craft, character, and quiet strength of Vietnam.
